There are opportunities for adults of all ages to connect at Southwest.

Empty Nesters

Our seniors’ group is welcoming and active.  From coffee parties and lunches, to special fundraising projects, to interesting field trips to local attractions, to friendships and mutual support, and to study and discussions, the Empty Nesters have a full and fun-filled calendar throughout the year.  For more information, check the church calendar or contact Jennifer MacIver at jenmaciver@hotmail.com.

Home Groups

A chance to get to know and support people at a more personal level. Southwest offers Home Groups in most areas of the City and on most days of the week. Groups choose their own topics of study, organize the most comfortable way in which to pray together, and plan community service opportunities for their group.  For more information, call the church office (250-828-1114) or contact our Home Group Coordinator, Neil Donald at nldonald@gmail.com.

Friday Women’s Study

Ladies Bible Study, Meets Friday mornings from 9:30 to12:00 (September to June).  We meet in the home of one of our members for prayer, bible study and muffins!  The group is open to women of all ages.  For further information, contact Judy at judyhatch22@gmail.com.

Hospitality/Kitchen Fellowship

An opportunity for anyone who would like to socialize and serve. Volunteers are always needed for Soup Sundays, Sunday Morning Coffee, and special church events. For more information, call the church office (250-828-1114) or email administrator@swcc.ca.

Family

On the last Sunday of every month, families are encouraged to get together for Family Games Night.  Board games are the theme and its a chance for families to connect, to be together with God as a group and have fun doing it.  For more information, call the church office (250-828-1114) or email administrator@swcc.ca.

Men’s Monthly Breakfast

From September to June, on the 4th Saturday of every month, the men of the church gather in the foyer for breakfast & fellowship.  We cook our own pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausages and toast, and even make coffee and do our own dishes!  Oftentimes, men from this group share personal experiences of how God is moving in their lives or provide a challenging devotional.  For further information, contact Jim Williams at jimandgracew@gmail.com.
