At Southwest, we believe that growth in the spiritual life is possible but that it does take practice. We are called to become pilgrims or apprentices to learn more about this new way of living. We provide many opportunities to journey together.
A chance to get to know and support people at a more personal level. Southwest offers Home Groups in most areas of the City and on most days of the week. Groups choose their own topics of study, organize the most comfortable way in which to pray together, and plan community service opportunities for their group. For more information, call the church office (250-828-1114) or contact our Home Group Coordinator, Neil Donald at email@example.com.
Friday Women’s Study
Ladies Bible Study, Meets Friday mornings from 9:30 to12:00 (September to June). We meet in the home of one of our members for prayer, bible study and muffins! The group is open to women of all ages. For further information, contact Judy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Men’s Monthly Breakfast
From September to June, on the 4th Saturday of every month, the men of the church gather in the foyer for breakfast & fellowship. We cook our own pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausages and toast, and even make coffee and do our own dishes! Oftentimes, men from this group share personal experiences of how God is moving in their lives or provide a challenging devotional. For further information, contact Jim Williams at email@example.com.
