At Southwest we offer several programs that support and care for our members and our Kamloops’ community.
Pastoral Care is offered by our current pastors and by members of our congregation who are retired clergy. Pastoral Care includes (but is not limited to): spiritual counselling and direction, teaching and mentoring, individual visitation and prayers, administering Baptism and Communion, and officiating at weddings and funerals. For more information, contact the church office (250-828-1114) or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our pastoral staff has general training and experience in counselling and are available to meet with individuals, couples or families in the church and community. Our membership also includes practicing and/or retired physicians, nurses, registered psychologists, clinical counsellors, social workers, accountants and teachers who are available for consultation or may be seen on referral to their professional practice. For more information, contact the church office (250-828-1114) or contact email@example.com.

Our pastoral staff are available to walk with people through their grief or loss. We are also fortunate in having Mary Widmer who is a highly trained professional with a specialty in grief and loss. Mary is available for consultation or referral to her practice. Through our members, Southwest has offered pre-marital counselling, marriage enrichment and financial planning seminars and courses. We also offer practical support through services from our various groups, a freezer meal program and a benevolent fund.
